I'm not on a metal thing anymore, it varies from week to week. This week I'm on a BMT (big man ting - english expression).
Older grime was always better, they rapped about live tings. Now it's just about money and prostitutes. This is what I've been listening to for the last week:
Big Poppa
Juicy
Straight Outta Compton
And this isn't grime, but this guy is fantastic, and I seriously don't understand how people can't like his music.
rap in general has always had terrible lyrics, atleast the "known" tracks lol its really sad to listen to the texts, yes even the "serious" ones about racism (which is always a hot topic) where we learn that this rapper, of course, has no job, lives on the tax payers aka workers money and commits every day crimes in the "gutter" every now and then - all because of that terrible racism! Oh well atleast it makes me feel good realising that i havent fucked up enough to say "fuck the police" as if it was a tough thing and tell the world about my made up uber swagness in crappy tunes that are only really "liked" because of the OGness of them. I think we all have our times in life where we listen to rap/hiphop/all the crap inbetween but its important not to get stuck in it and become an online gangsta like Undead. :P
