Well they picked gothic, originally I was going left vs Honor (vayne), Xemi mid vs Harrek (bonjour) and DamDam right vs Redbull. It started out pretty bad, we had troubles consistently fragging in coordination with each other, meaning it slowed down the amount of flags scored on the map since we were usually always able to catch out the intruding enemies on respawn. I say "usually", because sometimes we failed, and we were down 3-0 halfway through the game. Then we decided to switch DamDam and me around, and things went a bit better. I was holding Redbull off from right side and DamDam was able to create pressure on left, which allowed us to pull it back to 6-4. Sad to think that if we had played like this from the start, we would have won. GG anyway, they are hard opponents.
Then we picked desert3. Xemi was short, DamDam was mid, I was long. I think it seemed to go pretty well, we won by a large amount and our fragging dominance certainly helped us to pull victory.
Then they picked shine for tiebreak, and we lost. The frags were similar, and tbh we didn't even play badly in my opinion, however Harrek (fraspirateur) was amazing - he played his side perfectly and was always able to take advantage of our lacking communication to cut through and carry his team to victory on flags. Obviously we have things we need to work on, but there's no denying that this was an incredibly impressive game by Harrek, and we have a lot to learn if we are ever to match the coordination of a legendary team such as this. GGs
ggs, well played fra/w00p + rC's, we lost but it's no shame, they really were better.
